Authentic Storytelling for Problem Solving

Authentic Storytelling for Problem Solving

This project spans authentic voices, critical thinking, media literacy, hyperlocal journalism, and active citizenry for adult learners and community groups.

Practical Narrative Skills

Participants learn to create beat sheets, storyboards, and 60-second multimedia narratives. These skills are explicitly positioned as a vital countermeasure to the "AI slop" that is corroding trust in narrative media.

Storytelling as a Problem-Solving Discipline

The storytelling method is treated as a problem-solving discipline in its own right: organising, clarifying, and critically evaluating thought before it becomes a public narrative.

In this methodology, AI is used strictly for production support, while human insight supplies verification, context, and authenticity. The significance of this project is that it treats authentic, human-verified storytelling as a practical problem-solving method for communities and organisations navigating an AI-saturated information environment.
